International Female Ride Day - August 22, 2020

International Female Ride Day© (IFRD) celebrates women motorcycle riders and is not country, group or organization specific. It is a globally synchronized “JUST RIDE!”© day, for women individually, in groups, and collectively everywhere. Women make International Female Ride Day© their day to “JUST RIDE!”© doing what they can to promote and highlight women riders while making a positive difference for women in motorcycling everywhere. Every woman riding on IFRD is a role model for the diverse, unique and common passion women share for motorcycling.

Meet at Dreyer Can-Am 11:00AM - Top off your fuel BEFORE arriving at Dreyer.

Feet up 11:30 – Guys are welcome to join us for the day, but ladies first this time

Ryde to Danville, then wind south and east – eventually taking us to Mallow Run Winery. Ryde time from Dryer to Mallow Run will be approx. 1 hour 45 minutes.

Food trucks and live music available 2-5PM. Stay as long as you like!

Please bring blankets or something to sit on the ground, as it will be easier for us to safely gather at a distance ‘picnic style’ than to try to gather at tables.

I will also bring a fun activity especially for the ladies (of course the guys can join us) to work on while we enjoy the festivities!

View the Mallow Run website and event details here: www.mallowrun.com

This will be the chapter’s August group ryde.

REMINDER: Donations of $1 per person at each Group Ryde and Meet-n-Greet event will go towards charities.

Maximum Ryde - July 18, 2020

Ryde to Maximum PowerSports (2990 S U.S. Route 31, Peru, IN 46970) to join North Central Indiana chapter on their group ryde.

Aside from the Scavenger Hunt points for the group ryde there are two more opportunities to earn points while at Maximum Power Sports.

Maximum needs a headcount tally from our Chapter to plan food and drink. Comment if you plan on attending regardless if you are heading up on your own or in the Brickyard group.

Members can ryde to Maximum on their own. They do not have to participate in the group ryde from Indy to Maximum.

Meetup: Drury Inn / Firebird Restaurant parking lot 9611 N. Meridian; Indianapolis IN; 46290

This is the first intersection on Rt 31, just south of the Meridian St (Rt 31) and I465 interchange (north side of Indy). The parking lot is on the northeast corner of 31 and 96th. There is a Shell station on the southeast corner.

Please arrive with a full tank. Once the group ride departs from Maximum, plan on no gas stops. Please arrive no later than 8:15. “Kickstands up at 8:30. (The Ride Captain will be on site by 8:00)

It takes about 65 minutes to get to Maximum. This will get us there for registration and breakfast (served by Maximum), and time to socialize with fellow riders.

The ride from Maximum led by our North Central Indiana Chapter departs from Maximum at 10:30.

The Brickyard Ride Captain for the Indy to Maximum ride is Mike Tann.

If the event is cancelled due to weather we will let you know ASAP. If the Brickyard group decides not to go due to weather Mike Tann will post to Facebook.

SE Ohio Spyder Event

June 17 - 21, 2020

Zanesville, OH

Great rides through some very scenic and even somewhat challenging roads. A great time and a chance to meet old friends and make a few new ones. Single riders are welcome (Male and Female), you will find this to be a very social ride and group. Do not worry about coming alone and not knowing anyone, that will change pretty quickly. We will block intersections. We also have people flagging at intersections that we can not block. Bikes are welcome if you are riding with someone that comes with a Spyder. There are also several clubs and many individuals that will be participating.
