**NOTE: THIS WILL BE AN ALL-DAY EVENT. TIMING SUBJECT TO CHANGE. We will be meeting up at the Speedway Harley Davidson and riding with our friend Crystal Ashe and friends to the event. If you don’t want to travel interstate, feel free to meet the group at the event site in Garner.

There will be 2 meetups to choose from:
Meetup: Speedway H-D, 10049 Weddington Rd., Concord, Crystal Ashe & friends group
Meetup time: 7:30am

Upon arrival, please top off your gas, restroom break/get snacks and be present and ready to roll promptly at 8:00am.

EVENT ORGANIZER DETAILS:

12:00pm - Majority of escort motorcycles will gather at 16369 Hwy 50 (Food Lion Parking lot).

12:30pm - A small escort group of motorcycles, along with the Sidecar Bikes will arrive at the pickup location in Willow Springs. Load Mr. McComb and his daughter into the sidecar's and begin the ride to Lake Benson Park in Garner

12:45pm - Sidecar bikes with initial escort bikes will pass by 16369 Hwy 50 where remaining escort bikes will join the procession/escort to Lake Benson Park.

1:00pm - Arrive at Lake Benson Park Veterans Memorial. All bikes will immediately park along the entrance roadway and disembark. Everyone will follow behind our Guest of Honor as we traverse directly to the Memorial. A short ceremony will take place at the WWII section of the Memorial.

1:30pm - All participants will return to the Park Entrance to see Mr. McComb off on his finale leg of the escort back to his home. Bikes choosing to ride the final leg, will be released once we arrive at the street where Mr. McComb will be dropped off.

After the event, the organizers are may have a meal location to meet at for anyone interested in some food and fellowship before heading home. More info to come on this...

Join us for a day celebrating our Can Am Spyder and Ryker community. We wanted to throw an event so that every rider can come together and fellowship. There are many people looking for others to ride with. We wanted to make a day designed for everyone to meet other riders. We hope that all local riding groups and anyone that does ride a Can Am will attend. We will have food on site ready to eat around 12pm. Giveaways will take place at 1pm. What's better than one Polar Bear Ryde . . .it's 2 POLAR BEAR RYDES!! Let's get together and say goodbye-to Winter and travel up to Pilot Mountain followed by a cruise down the Main in Mt. Airy and lunch @ Lil' Richards BBQ.

Zippy has been hard a work planning a country (well mostly country) ride up to the mountain. It's so amazing when you get close and you see from a distance - totally breathtaking. We'll stop at the church for a quick photo of the mountain and then head on up.

This will be the 3rd Annual Carolina’s Polar Bear Ryde hosted by the Ft. Bragg Chapter.

Destination is Western Sizzler - 2688 David H. McCleod Blvd, Florence, SC to meet up with at least Ft. Bragg, Rock Hill/York, SC Midland, Triad and maybe others.

Zippy just went NUTS planning a country ride from the Harris Teeter at Mt. Holly Huntersville Rd to Myra's in Valdese. We will AVOID AVOID AVOID downtown Lincolnton and ride some wonderful backroads.

Myra's is a quaint little burger joint with wonderful burgers, ice cream and to top it off, there's a waterfall in the town park and of course (this is optional due to the cold weather coming in) - Zippy found a mountain road with a few twisties on the way (like you know she would)!

The Wall That Heals will arrive at Ride Now Powersports in Concord (254 Concord Pkwy S, Concord, NC 28027-6700) at approximately 1145 hours on October 18. A police escort will guide the custom semi through town to the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Motorcyclists are encouraged to attend and ride in the escort. Ride briefing 1245, KSU 1300 hours
