Leisurely ride from Zanesville going East, through scenic winding back roads at times following a few rivers and lakes. Route will go around Seneca Lake & Dam, Wayne National Forest and along the Ohio River. Ending up in New Martinsville, WV for lunch at Quinet's Court Restaurant. We do go across the bridge into West Virginia for lunch, so helmets are required for this portion of the ride.

The Court Restaurant has a home made lunch buffet (with home made deserts) for appx. $10.95. We will have a large private area set aside for our group.

From there we will ride South along the Ohio River, then West into the National Forest on 260. Everyone is encouraged to only ride at their own pace through the curves. Then route 26 through the forest to the North side of Marietta, we will stop at a covered bridge on route 26 to give everyone a little break. Route from the Covered bridge South on Route 26 will be at your own pace, anyone wishing to ride at a faster pace will leave first. There will be lots of great curves and scenery to enjoy in this section ending up just north of Marietta. After taking a bypass on the north side of Marietta we will then take route 60 a short distance to the gas stop then up along the Muskingum River all the way back to Zanesville. Planned stops in this portion, Muskingum River locks #8.

There is very little traffic on these roads on Saturday, making this a very enjoyable ride.

This will be a 217 mile (total) ride. We will make appropriate gas and rest stops. There will be plenty of time for socializing. This is a good opportunity to take a nice ride, meet some new people, and possibly get away for a couple of days. Everyone is welcome, for this ride you just need to have a Spyder or be with someone riding a Spyder.

What to expect: Great rides through some very scenic and even somewhat challenging roads.

A great time and a chance to meet old friends and make a few new ones. Single riders are welcome (Male and Female), you will find this to be a very social ride and group. Do not worry about coming alone and not knowing anyone, that will change pretty quickly.

We will block intersections. We also have people flagging at intersections that we can not block.

Bikes are welcome if you are riding with someone that comes with a Spyder.

This ride is Ride at your own Risk.

Indianapolis Memorial Tour - June 1, 2019

The Indiana War Memorials Foundation supports the museums, monuments and memorials that form the Indiana War Memorial Plaza Historic District—a National Historic Landmark District that is also on the National Register of Historic Places. No other city in the United States maintains as many acres dedicated to honoring veterans. Only Washington D.C. has more monuments dedicated to veterans and military conflicts. These historic treasures give us a concrete and meaningful way to ensure that the sacrifices of Hoosier veterans are remembered forever.

Walking tour (3.0-3.5 miles) of 11 memorials in Indianapolis with a stop at TwoDEEP Brewing Co. and lunch at Burgerhaus.

Meet at 8 Second Saloon (111 N Lynhurst Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46224) at 10:30 AM to pick up t-shirt and wrist band for Miracle Ride. Feet up at 11:00 AM. We will then drive to parking lot or garage near state capital to start our walking tour.
