Central Florida US Spyder Ryders will ryde to Route 1 Motorsports, 1300 US-1, Malabar, FL to support the Space Coast Chapter Road Warrior Awareness Ryde. 

NOTE: The depart time is moved to 8:00 am to accommodate change in the event's start time. Meet Up is at the Wawa, 2449 N Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee, FL at 7:30 AM. We will depart promptly at 8:00 AM and ryde to Route 1 Motorsports for the activities. 

This is a rain or shine event so we will be going.

This approximate 2 hour ryde will meet up at the Wawa, 2449, N. Orange Blossom Trail, Kissimmee [map] at 8:00 am to depart at 8:30 am. The ryde will take us down US Rte 17 into Bartow where we'll make a short gas/rest stop before continuing on to Solomon's Castle. We should arrive about 10:30 am.

The Traditional Castle Tour is $12.50. A Package Tour includes the Traditional Tour and a Second Gallery Tour for $18.50. Tickets are Cash or Check only. No Credit/Debit cards. Select the images for more information about Solomon's Castle.

Solomon's Castle restaurant, The Boat-In-The-Moat Restaurant, provides a good selection of lunch and full course items. [see menu]

Our return trip will be via Rte 64, US 27 and Rte 17 back into Kissimmee.

Sponsored by Thrive Apopka Assembly of God, the Apopka Care Experience will help raise funds to support orphanages in Haiti and local youth camps. Victor Maldonado has made special arrangements to display our Spyders for this event. There will be maple bacon donuts, hamburgers and hot dogs available. No fee is required, just show up, buy a hot dog or hamburger and be ready to talk about your Spyder.

We'll meet up at the RaceTrac, 1652 E. Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FL 32704 [map] at 8:30 am and depart at 9:00 am for a short ryde to the event. The event runs from 9am to 1pm. When we leave the event we'll ryde to a nearby Ice Cream shop for treats.

The first 2018 Road Warrior Awareness Ryde will be March 31, 2018 hosted by Central Florida Powersports and US Spyder Ryders - Central Florida Chapter - you are all invited.

This event will fund raise and promote the mission awareness of the Road Warrior Foundation and its major 2018 Ryde.

We will meet at Central Florida Powersports at 8:45am for a light breakfast before wheels up at 9:15am. After a local area ryde of approximately 120 miles, we will return to Central Florida Powersports at 11:45am for a cookout luncheon and a seminar on the new 2018 Cluster and BRP connect presented by the infamous Kenny Butler.

We will also hold door prize drawings for a 20% off Ultimate Seat, a $100 gift certificate from F4 Custom windshield, a new Motorcycle Jacket, multiple products from Lamonster garage, key covers from CanAmSpyderAccessories.com, Shirts from Spyder Ryder Attire, etc. The 2018 product line will be on display and serious ryders can avail themselves of the limited demo rydes. We will also have a 50/50 drawing available.

All this and a tax deduction for only $35 per person entry fee. All US Spyder Ryder chapters across the state (& other States) are invited to ryde in for this fun packed event. Oh yes, you will also receive a free collectible 4 inch vest patch for participating in the event.,

Wake up and smell the Oranges!  We'll ryde through the fragrant orchards south to Lake Placid. One of Florida's prettiest small towns, Lake Placid boasts nearly 50 outdoor murals adorning its downtown buildings. We will cruise through the town and view many of their murals. There will be some great photo opportunities on this ryde.

The Ryde will be 215 miles of back roads both down and back. We will meet up at Central Florida PowerSports at 9am and will depart by 9:30.  Our first rest and only fuel stop will be 68 miles in to the trip in Avon Park.  We will then ryde to lunch at Jaxson's in Lake Placid.  After lunch we will tour downtown Lake Placid before making our way home back to Kissimmee again via back roads. Our ryde will end in Kissimmee at about 4:30pm.

Slight change in lunch destination

Join this fun ryde led by new Road Captain George Cintron where he turns Bob's Train Restaurant into the Rusty Bucket Restaurant, 257 North Cattlemen Road, Sarasota, FL  We'll also be exploring the Florida west coast along scenic Longboat Key. 

We will meet up at Central Florida PowerSports at 8:30 am and depart at 9:00 am. Taking some nice secondary roads we will arrive at the Rusty Bucket Restaurant around 12:10 for lunch. After lunch we will tour the Sarasota Bay and Longboat Key, then gas up before returning to the Central Florida area.

We will be ryding to this event at Ferg's Sports Bar, 1320 Central Ave. St. Petersburg, FL again this year. All benefits go to one of our major charity organization, The Road Warrior Foundation. Here's the description of the event from the Road Warrior Foundation:

4th Annual Hops For Heroes Craft Beer Festival benefiting the Road Warrior Foundation. Over 30 breweries, over 100 different beers, live performance by Fifty Grit, Silent Auction, Ferg's providing food! Giveaways, fun. Join us in supporting our nations heroes and sampling some tasty brews for this years festival! This is the Road Warrior Foundations Biggest Fundraiser each year. DRINK BEER AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT!

Our ryde to Ferg's will begin at Central Florida PowerSports. We will meet at 10:00 am and depart at 10:30 am. Our route will take us through Kissimmee to Old Tampa Highway and then onto I-4 at Champion's Gate. We'll follow I-4 to Exit 10 where we'll take a short rest/break. The final leg will take us back on I-4 to I-275 across Tampa Bay and into St. Petersburg and Ferg's Sports Bar and Grill.

We will be starting out from our favorite sponsoring dealership (Central Florida PowerSports) and will ryde to our lunch and meeting destination in Mount Dora. For those that have attended this meeting in the past and those that are new, this meeting will be used to vote in the 2018 Board Members along with voting on which 501c3 Charities will be our primary focus for the coming year per our Bylaws.

We have also opened our 2018 Board Nominations Form (click here to direct access form). We will once again be utilizing our website and a custom form for the nomination process. Within the form, you will find a description of the main responsibilities for each position we will be voting on along with a listing of all current paid members through January 10, 2017 that are eligible to hold office.  Please select a member you wish to nominate in each drop-down and click the submit button.  From there your submission will be recorded and we will begin to draft ballot sheets for our meeting.  Nominations will be accepted up to Wednesday, February 7th and I ask that before nominating either yourself or someone else for a position please make sure you read the requirements which are posted prior to entering the form.

Meet up -

Feet up will be at 9:30am, route to lunch will be 94 miles. Lunch will be at Vincent's Italian Restaurant in Mt Dora with an arrival time of 12:30pm.

We will meet up at the Okahumpka Rest Stop on the Turnpike (around 8:30AM) and will be feet-up at 9:00AM.

We will then head up the Turnpike and 75 to meet up with the FLOcala Chapter at RideNow Powersports, 3880 N US Hwy 441, Ocala, FL at 9:45 am.  From there we will be feet-up at 10:15 AM for a 1 HR 30 Min ryde via the back roads to Backyard BBQ in NewBerry, FL.  After Lunch we will return to RideNow in Ocala via back roads.

Total Mileage from Okahumpka is about a 154 mile round trip. 

Mileage from RideNow to Lunch and Back will be 116 miles of fun and back roads.
