Join us as we prepare food bags and flyers for distribution

Volunteers needed for a WORK DAY at Hal Mette's residence. We'll meet at 173 Riggings Way, Clermont, FL at 10:00am to assemble and staple instructional flyers to approximately 1600 bags for our Second Harvest Food Bank food drive. When the work is done we will depart on a local ryde in the area and have lunch at the Lake Hide-A-Way restaurant, 11912 Lane Park Rd, Tavares, FL.

April 1st marks the beginning of Central Florida US Spyder Ryders and Central Florida PowerSports partnership in the annual Second Harvest Food Bank Food Drive  The food drop-off barrels are scheduled to arrive at Central Florida PowerSports on April 1st so you can feel free to start dropping off your donations of non-perishable food each time you visit Central Florida PowerSports throughout the month of April.

ATTENTION - TO LUNCH STOP.

Central Florida Chapter March 25, 2017 Group Ryde

We will meet at the Shell station at US 27 & SR 19 (20250 US Highway 27, Clermont, FL 34715) at 9:00 AM. Feet up at 9:30 AM. The ryde to Dianne's Old Time Barbeque in Hawthorne is 100 miles long.

After lunch we will take "the long way home" heading to Palatka and then south to Deland. This afternoon ryde is 90 miles long.
From Deland (SR44 and US17) people can head west (The Villages, Mt. Dora, Clermont, etc.), south (Sanford, Winter Park, Orlando, etc.), or east (Daytona Beach, Titusville, Melbourne, etc.).

We were asked by our Friends from Canada if we could put together a ryde for this weekend.  So in honor of Lucie, Gaetan, and Gilbert rejoining us for the next several weeks here is a great ryde.

Leg 1 - Leaving Mt. Dora @ Noon - Meet up time @ 11:30.  We will ryde to 1h 40 mins to Ultimate Seats (A great sponsor of last years Spyder Gathering).

Leg 2 - Leave Ultimate Seats after 15 to 30 mins and will head to Betty's A1A Cafe in Ormond by the Sea for a late lunch / early dinner.  Arrival time at Betty's will be around 2:45pm

Leg 3 - Leave Betty's down majestic John Anderson Dr in Ormond to Edgewater for a short stop.

Leg 4 - Leave Edgewater and head to Sanford via Osteen and Enterprise; ending at Wawa's. (about 1h and 18min).

Total Distance = 161 miles or 4h and 30 mins of moving time.

Join us on Saturday, January 28th for a group ryde to Southern Breeze in Kissimmee's Old Town. Where we will have dinner with our friends from the Florida West Coast Chapter and take in the sights of a Classic Car Show after dinner.

We will meet at Central Florida Power Sports at 3:00pm with feet up at 3:30. The ryde will be through the outskirts of Kissimmee/St. Cloud and around East Lake Tohopekaliga then back through Kissimmee. We'll take a brief rest stop before continuing through Intercession City, Old Lake Wilson Road then on into Old Town. We meet up with the Florida West Coast Chapter at 5:30 for dinner at the Southern Breeze Restaurant. The Classic Car Cruise In starts at 8:30 pm for those wanting to stick around.

Winter Music Series Ryde

Meet up 8:30 AM at Cracker Barrel located at North SR27 & I4 in Davenport (111 Dunson Ln, Davenport, FL 33896) for group breakfast.

Wheels up at 9:45 AM for a back country ryde in Eastern Polk & Western Lake County. We will look to arrive at LakeRidge Winery on US 27 - North Clermont at approximately Noon.   Our first stop will have us visiting the Vineyards for about one hour to explore the vineyards and winery along with listen to the music of Baby Blues and of course participate in wine & cheese tasting (if you like).

We will then be back on the road again heading into some hills and curves in Eastern Lake and Seminole County before ending at the Rock & Brew in Oviedo for afternoon craft beer thirst quencher or healthy snack. Remember if you drink, drink responsibly as it will be up to the Road Captain and / or any Board Member o end your tour if they feel you are not fit to be on your Spyder.
