Bun Burner 1500 - Hal Mette
We are riding the Bun Burner 1500 In honor of the 2015 Road Warrior Ryde from Valcourt to Key West. Doug Chasick and I are leaving Kissimmee at 7am June 2nd and will arrive in Valcourt, Canada by 7 PM on June 3rd.
We are actually riding 1592 miles on the route we have chosen so if you would pledge/contribute only 1 cent to 5 cent per mile of our ride we could raise some great funds. When you make your contribution please put the phrase "Bun Burner 1500" in the notes section. Of course, after we recover on June 4th we will escort the Road Warriors all the way back to Florida ryding from June 5-12th. Key West is a very busy place. So if you think you may want to go, book now!! Note the hotels cancellation policy. If you wait to book this trip you will not be able to get a room. Additionally, I have to book some of the events we are planning within the next couple weeks as they already have dates that are full. However, I am going out of country for two weeks November 22nd, so I have to know by the morning of November 21st, who is doing the Snorkel and kayak tours, so I can guarantee the tours.
Group ryde on Saturday April 11th at 10:00am to Salt Springs in the Ocala Forest. The ride will be about 150 miles round trip starting and ending at the Race Track Gas Station on US 441/27 in Lady Lake. We will have lunch at the Squar Meals Restaurant in Salt Springs.
