Annual Mountain Cruise – “The Gauntlet” in north Georgia, May 22 to May 28, 2014. “This year the Central Florida Spyder Ryders will be headed to North Georgia to cruise “The Gauntlet” and other outstanding mountain rydes in the area of Helen & Blairsville, Georgia.

We will be departing Florida on May 22 and stopping overnight on the way to Helen, Ga. and our host hotel – The Helendorf Inn & Suites. Many of the homes and businesses in the area resemble an Alpine Village in Switzerland or Bavaria. We will be staying at The Helendorf Inn 4 nights – May 23, 24, 25, & 26. We depart on May 27 and arrive back in Central Florida on May 28. We will have additional details in the near future for accommodations on the way to/from “the Gauntlet”.

The Helendorf Inn is giving us a group rate of $94 for Friday/Saturday, May 23 & 24 – and $84 for Sunday/Monday, May 25 & 26. However, we must have at least 15 rooms reserved to guarantee the group rate. If we get enough participants for the 15 rooms, you may still get a 10% discount with AAA or AARP. So make your plans and join us for another great trip to the mountains and some outstanding rydes and beautiful Spring scenery. I will follow up with more info after I see how the commitment is going. Thanks, Fred R

Total Chapter Ryde April 23, 2014 Jacksonville Bike Night 6055 Youngerman Circle, Jacksonville, Florida Departing from Seminole East Bound I4 Rest Area (past 434) at 2:30pm riding to Jacksonville to Dick Wings (formerly Buffalo Cafe) Bike Night. Then returning after supper and reviewing event. This will be the headquarter location of the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies Event-Escorted Ryde held on Sept 20th. As participants in the planning some of us are anxious to see the area and perhaps select a hotel for future visit. Bob Culver and Hal BikerDoc are definitely making the ryde and we invite anyone interested in a great ryde and good time to join us.

We can meet up with folks on I95 enroute if Atlantic coast folks want to ryde up.

We will meet at Tampa Bay Powersports at 9:30am on April 12th, and the Lockrems (our very successful road captains) will lead us on another great ryde and eat. Of course in addition to the Gulf Region members, the Heartland and Atlantic members are invited to ride over to join the festivity and get to know the local ryders. 20140412-RH01x 20140412-RH02x 20140412-RH09x 20140412-RH14x 20140412-RH15x 20140412-RH16x   20140412-RH20x 20140412-RH21x 20140412-RH23x 20140412-RH26x 20140412-RH18x 20140412-RH19x
