Bruce Liniger: Here is the flyer on the reunion.   The movement and escort of the wall begins at 1000 on Sunday, April 21.  The gathering and assembly point is BCC campus on Clearlake Road in Cocoa.  I will e-mail or call the guy that coordinates it and see if we can't get all the Spyders to be grouped together.  Hopefully we will have a large turnout.

Molly Mutt Poker Run - April 7, 2013

The Central Brevard Humane Society will host its 10th Annual Molly Mutt Poker Run on Sunday, April 7th, starting at 10 a.m. at the Humane Society, located at 1020 Cox Road in Cocoa. The cost to participate in the run will be $7.00 per hand or (2) hands for $10.00. Donations of pet supplies are greatly appreciated. All vehicles are welcome.   The run will begin at the Central Brevard Humane Society and will end at The Fraternal Order of Eagles, located at 1050 N. Courtenay Parkway on Merritt Island. First bike out will be scheduled to leave at 10 a.m., with the last one departing at 11:30 a.m. Event activities will include a 50/50 drawing, vendor displays, food and a live entertainment by D.J. Doc Holiday, beginning at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for “best”, “worst” and “mystery” hands.   All proceeds from this event will help raise awareness and financial support for the thousands of “unwanted and abandoned” pets that visit the shelter each year, who need a safe and loving “forever” home. Group Ryde - April 6, 2013

Update for Saturday’s Ryde: We reconnoitered the route of next Saturday’s ryde today and it is an easy 90 miles plus what ever you need for the return from the Lone Cabbage. Including stops it will be just less than three hours to our destination. Lots of slow going the first two-thirds of the ride and then highway speed for the final stretch. Air boat rydes and gator tail on hand at the Lone Cabbage if you are so inclined. Doc says Jason is springing for breakfast at CFPS so be ther early with a full tank and an empty belly.

Ryde, Ryde, Ryde!!! Be there or be square. Saturday, April 6, Central Florida Power Sports, Kissimmee feet up at 0900. We will stop and see the hidden B-52 bomber at OIA, cruise between the runways there, ride through Medical City, along Saint Cloud's lakefront, bisect Deseret Ranch, cross the St. Johns River and finally stop at the Lone Cabbage for lunch going our merry ways afterward.

This is just about 100 miles with a gas stop half way and gas again at I-95 near our destination. It is an easy ride, flat and straight, a good one to get started riding with the group if you are of a mind to try one. As usual all Spyder ryders and their friends on two-wheelers are welcome. Look forward to seeing you at CFPS.

Daytona Beach Bike Week - March 16, 2013

Bike Week 2013 We will meet for lunch @ 11:30 AM with a group ryde to follow. Ryde will end near the speedway.  Make sure that your gas tanks are full BEFORE we eat.  Let's try a group photo on the beach immediately after lunch.

Daytona Beach Bike Week – March 9, 2013

Bike Week 2013 March 9th Bike Week Meet & Eat plus ride at Manny's 501 South State Street, Bunnell, FL 32110 at 10:30am for brunch and Ryde. RL and Mary Geiger are meeting a group of Spyderlover here and will then lead a ryde of partial Ormond Loop and Daytona Bike Week area. Let us know if you are coming so RL can plan ryde accordingly.

Anyone making plans to attend Daytona Bike Week? Mary and I will be ryding over on the 9th or the 16th depending on anyone elses plans to attend. We can meet up and do lunch like Biketoberfest.

It looks like we will meet at Mannys in Bunnell for brunch at 10:30am, ryde part of the loop heading to Main St, stopat Beech St, and then the track. I hope to see or meet up with some of our group then.

Clewiston Spyder Gathering - February 9, 2013

Meet & Eat Everyone should try and be at Roland & Martin's Tiki Bar (920 EAST Del Monte Avenue Clewiston, FL 33440) between 12:30 and 1 PM, we're plaining on going in at 1PM. If you're planning on coming and if your name is not on the list, please post your name and any friends that might be coming along with you whether they are on two or three wheels. We need to let the restaurant know the head count. On the last post I will be posting times where we will be passing through different towns so, if you want to meet up with the group coming from the north [Ocala ] on US 27, you will be able to do so. Many Spyders are ryding down SR 27 to Ochochobee for Meet & Greet at Roland and Martin Tiki Bar - approx 60 to 80 Spyders expected.  The ryde is going there & back.  There will not be a group ryde while there.  It's mainly a chance for folks from south Florida to meet more active riders from the center of the state.  We could either join with other groups ryding down 27 or stage our own group. My experience on SR 27 with all its traffic lights tells me that over 10 spyders in a group would be a nightmare to try & keep all together.

St. Cloud Law Ride

St.Cloud Law Ride - Blue Knights FL - January 26, 2013

The dignitaries of Osceola County and the St. Cloud Police Department were so impressed with the results of a short notice effort to help one of our St. Cloud Motors Officers in August 2011, they approached us to make this an annual event. Now, the First Annual Osceola Law Ride has been born. Ride starts in St. Cloud, Florida.

Meet up with C2C chapter at CFPS at 8:15 AM to stage to ryde in together so Spyders can be a single pack on the Ryde. You can download registration form from website and fill it out in advance to expedite your registration once we get to the ride site.  This is a 77 mile law escorted (non stop) ride. There will be vendors/ food etc avaiable at the beginning and end of ride.

This would be a great time to bring some food items to CFPS for the Second Harvest Food Bank benefit that will take place February 23, 2013.

Thunder By The Bay Motorcycle Festival

Thunder By The Bay Motorcycle Festival - January 5, 2013 Growing biker rally with,over 100 vendors in closed off streets of downtown area, with live entertainment. Meeting at Cracker Barrell I4 & I27 @ 9:00 AM to head on together to Sarasota. Lunch at Leroy selmon’s (great place just off the interstate on border of Sarasota and Bradenton).

We are staying Saturday overnight at the Sleep Inn @ the Sarasota airport (www.choicehotels.com) on University Parkway.
